Well it was a gorgeous 64 degrees in Chicago yesterday! It was warm enough to wear open toed shoes! Mind.Blowing. Never before have I experience this warmth in March. I was really excited to wear such a light summer-y outfit! I bought this sailboat top from Old Navy after seeing it on another blog before I went to LA but I haven't gotten a chance to wear it because the shirt seems very summery. I'm so glad I finally wore it. I hate it when I buy something and I can't figure out how to work it into my wardrobe.

Is anyone else extremely surprised at how cute Old Navy's clothes are this season? I mean, their entire stock has totally changed! Even their basics are cuter! I went to a really fancy looking one on North Ave - so maybe that's why I think it looks so snazzy. Anyway I wore this when my sister and I went out to a brunch on Sunday after sleeping in significantly. I'm still super tired from the photoshoot on Saturday. What is it about time change that makes everyone want to go out for brunch? All of the local joints were paaacked!

Ok - so I heard some weird daylight saving time facts on the radio and I thought I'd share:

  • Though it is often referred to as Daylight Savings Time, it is officially Daylight Saving Time.
  • People aren't physically adjusted to the time change until a week after Daylight Saving Time.
  • People are almost twice as likely to get in a car accident the Monday after Daylight Saving Time moves time an hour forward.
Well I'm exhausted. I could not get to sleep last night, between the sleeping in and the time change I really had no chance.

PS: I obviously did not think about the cute level of the area I was in before taking pictures..please ignore how strange the street looks...and the weird store I'm standing next to! haha!
