DIY: Neon Necklace

Neon is such a big trend for Summer this year and I've been seeing a lot of really neat necklaces online that have been just a bit out of my budget so I thought I'd give it a shot and make my own!

A variety of different colored spray paint (Walmart has good colors!)
A necklace (I got mine from a thrift store for $3)
A drop cloth (fabric is better than a foam board)

1. Lay out the part of the necklace you wish you spray
2. Tape the part you don't want sprayed down
3. Put a light layer of spray paint on that part allow to dry for 10 min then add another layer if necessary (usually necessary).
4. Repeat step 2 and 3 with the other colors.
5. Allow to dry over night.

Tada! So simple and cute!

Total cost: $15

I'm also eager to use the tape to create a design on different accessories (thick bangles, collar necklaces etc!) Let me know if you have any questions! If you do give it a shot post or email me a picture! I'd love to check them all out!
