Two weeks ago I got the exciting opportunity to attend Randolph Street Market's Vintage Apres Noir, a Chicago Fashion Focus event. The event really blew my expectations out of the water. It was so much fun! The atmosphere had a bit of dark glamor to it with flickering candle light dark decor and a tree silhouette creating the backdrop of the runway. Whiskey cocktails were served with sushi hors d'ourves before the show while guests mingled. The fashion show featured four different collections that ranged in style and decade from mid 1950's to late 1980's and was curated by Redgi Woods. In between each collection were a group of performers, burlesque dancers, swing dancers, and then finally a group of all female pop-lock dancers. The combination was a perfect way to break up the collections. My favorite thing however was that everyone, from the models to the guests, just looked like they were having a ton of fun!

It was a whirlwind of a day with the Randolph Market in the morning and the event at night but it was so much fun! I'd definitely love to attend the event again next year.
